Winner of the "Most Creative Booth" Goes to Linens By Alice

This year, Linens by Alice took home the coveted, "Most Creative Booth" award at the 2010 Northwest Event Show. We asked Pat O'Neill, owner of Linens by Alice, where she came up with the inspiration for her booth. Here's what she had to say:

"For the Linens by Alice booth this year, it was time to change things up a bit, come up with a new twist.  My inspiration came from my kids and from an episode of Bravo's show "Work of Art."  I wanted a minimalist look to tell the story of the changing season.  By using the leaves, we were able to showcase our wide range of linen choices. I wanted to share how an event can be tailored by applying seasonality to tablecloths.  We created something whimsical and eye catching because it was unexpected.  I received so much positive feedback - it made people smile!"

Winner of the "Best Booth" Goes to PJ Hummel & Company!

If you've attended the Northwest Event Show in the past, you know our exhibitors pull out all the stops. And this year was no exception. As always, the Show showcased some of the most incredibly talented and creative people around. Each year, the show awards the creativity of our exhibitors, giving awards to the "Most Creative Booth," "Best Showmanship," and overall "Best Booth." In our blog, we'll be featuring mini interviews from the winners.

Today, we'd like to feature PJ Hummel & Company, winner of the "Best Booth" award. PJ gives us insight as to what her inspiration was for her incredible display.

 

 

"The Northwest Event Show is the one time of year when I get the opportunity to design for me, and celebrate my passion for the meetings and events industry. I always try to push the limits and top myself from year to year at the show.

This year I focused on creating an environment that was interactive & fun. It's amazing how something as simple as a cloud shaped swing could bring so much delight. My very favorite part of the day was the look of pure joy on people's faces as they tested the swing out.

The show is such a huge team building and morale booster for my staff.  What could be finer than to showcase the best of the best, new trends, and inventory we have for the upcoming season? It was definitely a five star day for PJ Hummel & Company, I am so proud of my team.

I never go to the show thinking I'm going to make a sale; I go to be with my people. Where else could you find a room full of so many industry experts, movers, and shakers? I spent the day giving and receiving kisses and hugs from friends old and new. I owe a huge thanks to the folks at B&E who
organized and put on the best Northwest Event Show yet."

Thanks For Attending the Northwest Event Show

 

We've been producing the Northwest Event Show for over a decade, and no matter how many years go by, the thrill and excitement of the Northwest Event Show never gets old. One of the major reasons is because of the attendees.

 

We are thrilled each year to see familiar and new faces alike enter the registration lines, eager to see what the show has in store. This year was no exception.

 

We'd like to extend our sincerest thanks to those who attended to the Northwest Event Show on October 12th. From the chatter after the show, we've heard you enjoyed yourselves very much, and that makes us feel all warm and tingly inside. Northwest Event Show Sponsor Spotlight: Zippydogs
